Twin Lakes Farm is a riding academy and competitive show stable located within Twin Lakes Park on the border of Eastchester and Bronxville New York. TLF offers English Riding Lessons by appointment 7 days per week. We offer both private and group instruction for children and adults, beginning at 6 years old.

Our lessons range from beginner first time lessons to Jumping and Horse Shows. Beginner and Novice riders begin with private ˝ hour lessons until they are ready to join a group lesson. Generally, students ride in 5 private lessons before joining the walk-trot group.

Our philosophy as a stable is based on a Traditional Riding Academy. Twin Lakes Farm maintains 30-35 lesson horses at any given time of varying levels. Our purpose is to expose children and adults to English Riding in a safe and fun environment. For those wishing to pursue riding further, we offer leasing, sales and boarding of private horses.

If you have been riding for years and want a safe but challenging place to ride or if you have never ridden before Twin Lakes Farm will have an instructor and a mount to fit your needs.

Students who have never ridden before begin with private lessons and then graduate into our group lessons program.

Twin Lakes Farm hosts six USEF horse shows in addition to attending regular local rated and schooling shows. Our Show Team competes weekly. Twin Lakes Farm competes in the Fairfield-Westchester PHA High Score program and is consistently in the year end ribbons for both Equitation and Hunter Divisions.  Riders do not need to own a horse to compete. Our show team is comprised of both private and academy horses.

The “Twice A Week Program” is for our competitive junior riders who wish to improve their horsemanship and equitation with the goal of competing. Riders sign up on a monthly basis and ride twice per week for one hour. The competitive career of our junior rider begins with our “In-House” schooling shows. These shows are open only to the students of the riding academy. Riders compete for ribbons and trophies leading to the high point award at the end of the series.

Summer Camp runs in July - August and fills up fast. Please contact the office for a separate Summer or Winter Camp brochure and application.

Western Lessons, Trail Rides and Pony Parties are available at our neighbor facility, River Ridge Equestrian Center, (914) 633-0303.
