Elizabeth Tarter is our Riding Director and a former Champion Junior Rider.  She specializes in children and timid adults but also trains our more advanced jumping classes.  A graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut; Liz has started literally thousands of students and has designed our program around our philosophy of: Safety, Learning, and Fun.  Liz  teaches private and group lessons daily, and also coaches the Twin Lakes Show Team at away horse shows.
Scott Tarter is our Stable & General Manager. He has been a professional horseman for twenty years in the Westchester County area and is in charge of daily horse care and operations.  Scott holds an A.A.S. from Cazenovia College in Stable & Farm Management and a B.S. from The University of Connecticut in Animal Science.  In addition to his responsibilities as general manager, Scott also travels with the USEF and IHSA teams and drives the horsevan and trailer.

Ruth Cameron was born and raised in Manhattan. A permanent fixture at Twin Lakes Farm, Ruth has been teaching at Twin Lakes for twenty years. Students range from first timers to our show riders. Lessons with Ruth are available Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Carol Dussault is our Office Manager. She can answer your questions regarding lessons, boarding, camp and scheduling. Carol has been the voice on the phone for the past 7 years. When in doubt, Carol has the answer!

Kristina Anderson has been riding for more than 20 years and has passed the love of the sport onto her sons who have competed from cross rails to the 3'6" Equitation.  Kristina is a former professional dancer and now rides competitively in the Adult Equitation and Medal Classes.  During the Summer, when Kristina is not horse showing, you will find her knee deep in campers.  During the school year she teaches Monday - Friday and braves teaching the evening adult flat and jump classes (Fossils- on- the- Flat and Fossils- Over- Fences)

Julie Dussault (Yes, Carol's sister, we believe in nepotism) is the face of the desk on Sundays.  When you arrive to ride Julie will check you in, tell you the horse you are riding and answer your questions.
