Camp Programs
Camp Programming

At Twin Lakes Farm, education sits at the heart of everything we do. Camp blends daily mounted instruction with hands‑on horsemanship, barn management, and team‑building fun. Riders leave each week with new skills, new friends, and a deeper respect for our incredible equine partners.
-
Safety first, always. USEF/USHJA‑aligned instruction, ASTM/SEI helmets, and a horse‑first culture.
-
Structured learning. A clear curriculum by level, daily goals, and feedback cards for riders and families.
-
So much saddle time. Riding (or equivalent mounted time) every day, tailored to ability and horse welfare.
-
Hands‑on horsemanship. Grooming, tacking, groundwork, stable management, equine science.
-
Community. Positive coaching, team challenges, and Fun Fridays to conclude the week of camp on a fun note.
Camp Opportunities
June - August
Summer Camp
Our flagship program, Twin Lakes Summer Camp, runs weekly from June through August and welcomes riders ages 6–16 of every level. Each day blends mounted riding lessons, horsemanship, and themed activities and games! Riders enjoy plenty of saddle time, hands-on barn experience, and team-building fun in a safe, positive environment.

Winter Camp
Twin Lakes Winter Camp offers riders a chance to sharpen their skills during the colder months. With both mounted instruction in our indoor arenas and horsemanship labs tailored to the season (like horse care in winter, blanket fitting, and feeding adjustments), riders stay engaged, active, and learning. Winter Camp is a perfect way to keep riders progressing while spending their break with friends and horses.

Spring Camp
Offered during school spring breaks, this program focuses on refreshing fundamentals, preparing for the show season, and enjoying time outdoors with our horses. Campers ride daily, participate in horsemanship lessons, and take part in fun seasonal activities that celebrate the start of spring. It’s an ideal chance to build confidence, get back in the saddle, and set riding goals for the year ahead.
