Liz is our Head Trainer and Riding Director for all programs.  She is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT and has made her career teaching riding to both children and adults for the past fifteen years. As a young rider, Liz competed both both hunter/jumpers and gaited Saddlebreds.

 

 

After college, Liz got her start teaching at the Claremont Riding Academy in Manhattan- which was an education like none other; and began her interest in keeping quality riding schools active and alive in urban communities. She has also taught and trained for The Sleepy Hollow Country Club, Overpeck Stables and the Ethel Walker School.

 

 

Currently,  Liz trains the USEF show team, travels with them to over 80 shows per year and oversees the curriculum for the riding schools.  As a mother of three, Liz recognizes the importance of riding for young people and is committed to helping each rider reach his or her own personal goals.
